What they hell are they doing to jeans?

Bought three pairs of jeans at WM this morning. Sure as hell wasn't trying them on, buy why would I since I've been wearing the same size for the last 15 years.

Try them on at home, they're all about 2" bigger than expected. I could almost get them up to my nipples.

I guess today's 36 is yesterday's 38.

I've noticed the same things - pants and shirts both. Guess they want their customers to feel better about themselves?

Shirts are even worse. Half the time an L is too small but an XL is big enough to fit both Irondung and TheBeast at the same time.

I used to wear XL shirts and nothing but. Now I have to get XXL shirts, but my old XL shirts still fit.

I have to do the same thing...an XL fits fine everywhere except through the shoulders and sleeves (which are too tight) and a 2X usually looks like something someone would wear to a slumber party..

How about the way they've changed how clothes are labeled? Are they just trying to make women feel bad? I've worn the same size for years and then all of a sudden, I've got to go up one or two sizes, according to the label. And the glorious re-birth of the low-rise pants. UGH!!!

Low-rise pants are bad enough in the general concept. I know that low-rise aren't for me, and it makes it more difficult to find proper pants. However, what disturbs me the most is those individuals who haven't figured out that they realllllllly shouldn't be wearing low-rise, but continue to do so. Muffin-top horrors...
